Welcome to Faith Presbyterian Church located on the hill of South Capitol and Chesapeake Streets, S.W. Washington, D.C.
For more than 50 years, Faith is continuing to live out its mission:
“Called by God … to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ;
To minister to the needs of members of the congregation and residents of the community;
To promote peace and justice in the world; and, …To change lives of those who seek God, and to encourage those who do not.”
Faith is a Bible teaching church and is committed to being Disciples of Jesus Christ in the world and showing the presence of God in our lives through our love for one another.
Through our outreach ministry, we provide for myriad needs including feeding those who are hungry, providing support to Leckie Elementary School; participating in the Prison Fellowship Ministry’s Angel Tree Project, etc.
However, our main mission is to seek out the lost and offer them hope through Jesus Christ.
We invite you to join us for worship and bear witness to what God is doing at Faith.
